About Rushing Streams

Rushing Streams Ministries was founded to further the Lord’s mandate of releasing people into freedom from bondages to experience greater wholeness and fulfillment in life. A major focus of the ministry is healing from generational issues.

In a counseling career spanning over 35 years, author and teacher Martin Frankena has shared the life-changing power of Christ’s redemption with individuals and churches in America, Canada, South America and Europe.

Born in the Netherlands, Martin was raised in Brazil and lived in Canada for 40 years. With a Masters degree in pastoral counseling, Martin has served on the pastoral staff of the Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship and as Assistant Director with Ellel Ministries.

Martin and his wife Cindy work together in counseling to help individuals and couples achieve personal transformation. Additionally, Martin travels throughout the year sharing in churches and conferences.

Martin and Cindy currently reside in Hagerstown, Maryland, and are the proud parents of three grown children and nine grandchildren.
